suddenly... the urge to write another journal just hit me... my racing mood just wont go away...
kay, here the story...
Its been awhile since I watch anime shows, I dont know why... I just grow tired of em, and u wont believe how in love I am to those animes back then, even u can consider me as one of those run in the mills OTAKU (except Im not that freak like those akiba guys... )
and yesterday one of my friend who usually download TV shows, anime, movies etc, gave me Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune (MT) the Anime show (thx a lot bro! u rocks!! )
yeah... its nice the car were cell shaded and look nice, too bad they didnt do a nice work on the character but its okay... I can live with it
the story just like in the game (possible spolier)... 18 years old Highschooler named Akio Asakura who just bought a kickass FairladyZ S30, but it turn out that the car has a ghastly history which all of the previous owner died in accident while riding that car, hence it it called The Devil Z, so did Akio run screaming like a lil girl or ask a refund to the junkyard after knowing that? U bet he wont! haha
the character Akio Asakura here is pretty interesting to me... at first glance at the start of episode 1 the design it was so-so he just look like a overly nice guy and a bit boring and shy type of guy but the later of the show it proves me wrong... He's a cool guy and drawn all the ladies around him I tell ya! haha and that is something u dont see very often in anime rite? cuz usually the main guy from anime is overly to nice and overly polite and shy around women too rite? heck they even blushed and lost of words around them and ends up talkin or yellin nonsense and walks away from 'em rite? so cliche... but not our boy Akio here... he's so bad even his homeroom teacher drawn to him too, there's a scene where his homeroom teacher ask him loudly to come to school tomorrow, yes he came at the school but when his homeroom teacher calling for attendance in the class and notices him not the class only to find out that Akio ask one of his classmate to tell her "u ask me to come to school but U didnt asked me to stay rite?" she's got furious and decided to look for him and only to ends up strolling around the city with his ghastly Z... really reminds me of Tom Cruise in Top Gun here
and there's another cool scene, when the cute sister of the late previous owner stalks him around the city and ends up in his garage he said to her calmly and with a smile "u can look but dont get in my way kay?", I once read a book, if u can tell women that your passion is number 1 and women cant never be number 1 in your life they'll drawn to you and they'll work hard trying to be number 1 in your life instead... funny huh? but I know what its means now haha... okay okay Im not discussing about women here so I gonna stop here...
beside Akio there a lot of other character too like the Wangan emperor Tatsuya Shima, Akio main Rival with his car the Blackbird (yup he named his car too... isnt it cute? ) funny things is in the game the blackbird supposed to be a Fairlady 350Z but in the Anime the blackbird turn out to be a Porsche?? and there's Reina a model who luv to race with her Skyline GT-R
so... is the anime as good as the game? we can only wait and see
